To create a more beautiful and usable bathroom:

Shower Improvements:

• Removed the curb and created an easy step down into the shower.
• Replaced a shiny brass shower door with a clean frameless door with polished nickel hardware.
• Expanded the shower door opening for easier access.
• Tiled the exterior of the hip wall to further visually enlarge the shower.
• Replaced tired shower wall and floor tile with a beautiful color-coordinated combination of oversize porcelain and stone mosaic tile.
• Double shampoo cubbies provide ample space to hide unsightly toiletries inside the hip wall.

The vanity improvements:

• The cabinet received a fresh coat of paint.
• The cabinet was topped with a stunning and practical remnant of Macabus quartzite.
• A large rectangular undermount sink replaced the “pink flowers” drop-in.
• Final touches included a new polished nickel faucet, cabinet hardware and light fixture above, with a new custom-framed mirror handpicked to coordinate.
