With this client’s recent kitchen remodel, the breakfast bar was lowered, making this knockout nook feel more connected to the new cool kitchen. Floors were refinished in this connected space and added in the adjoining family room for “seamless flow”. Wood also replaced carpet on the adjacent back staircase. A time-stamped cellular shade was removed to offer an unobstructed view of the pool from both kitchen and nook. Still to come: a light fixture worthy of this updated space.
